I get an annual inspection of my HVAC system. This time instead of cleaning the metal filters in the Rheem system, the technician recommended buying paper filters. He said they are more effective than metal filters. I have allergies so I was interested. We don't have a standard size so he referred me to this website. I needed a 15.25" x 5.5" x 22". I ended up buying a 16" x 5" x 22" and it fits! I called Filterbuy to make sure I would be able to wedge it in. I received confirmation that the flexible filter would fit. I had to remove one bolt that was sticking into the space and then was able to insert the filter. I can visible see that this will be more efficient than the metal filter vents.
